Domingo D. Nunez Sr, 82, of Odessa, passed away on 12/2/2017 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland.
Rosary/Visitation will be 9:00 am Tuesday 12/5/2017 at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday 12/5/2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, officiating, altar servers - Natalie Pettersen and Elijah Nunez. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Domingo was born in San Juan, Chihuahua, Mexico to Hipolito and Isabel Nunez. He married Amada Nunez on 9/5/1959 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He worked as a construction/pipeline worker for many various companies for over 40 years. He was involved in various religious groups at Holy Redeemer Church.
Domingo is preceded in death by Hipolito Nunez Gonzalez - father, Isabel Dominguez Escontrias - mother, Domingo Nunez Jr - son.
Domingo is survived by spouse - Amada Nunez Madrid, children - Maria Adelaida Goodwin, Maria Isela Carrasco, Maria Candelaria Hurn, Ludivina Navarro, and Omar Nunez, brother - Elias Nunez, grandchildren - Gilbert Carrasco III, Monica Pettersen, Amelia Navarro, Clarrissa Hurn, Kevin Hurn Jr, Talor Nunez, Kaleb Nunez, Daniel Hurn, Isaiah Nunez, Elijah Nunez, Nicholas Nunez, and Olivia Nunez, great grandchildren - Natalie Pettersen and Noah Pettersen.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Morris, Sammy Gonzalez, Andrew Pettersen, Marcelino Gonzalez Jr, Talor Nunez, Isaiah Nunez, Daniel Hurn, and Noah Pettersen.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Hospital.
