Ector Castillo

Ector J. Castillo, beloved husband, father, and grandpa drew his last breath on April 7, 2018. Ector was born on July 10, 1962 in Odessa, TX to Angel and Esperanza (Jimenez) Castillo.

He married the love of his life, Juana O Castillo on July 8, 1988 in Odessa, TX and together raised two beautiful and respectful boys. He worked at PBP Fabrications for 26 years as a yard foreman.

He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and attended at least 3 games every season. He loved to travel and make memories with his family. He was a ray of light the minute he walked into any room with the potential of uniting people of all ages and making sure everyone was smiling.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Teresa Castillo and brother Mike Castillo.

He is survived by his wife, Juana, two sons Ector Jr. (Crystal) and Hugo Castillo, sisters Paula Fabela and Elisa Romero both of Odessa and Irene Romero of Ojinaga,Chih., brothers Jose Angel Castillo and Roberto Castillo of Odessa and Jesus Castillo from Tennessee and his one and only granddaughter (mamas) Maritza Brielle Castillo.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Leyva, Robert Castillo Jr., Mike Castillo, Eric Castillo, Angel Romero, Arthur Picazarri, Reynaldo Chavez, and Gardiel Ochoa. Honorary Pallbearers Roberto Castillo Sr., and Rafael Ochoa.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Jessica Soto, RN for her care, love, and support.

Mr. Castillos; Visitation will be held Tuesday April 10, 2018 from 1pm to 9pm, & Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 9am to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home, Mass will be celebrated at 10am Thursday April 12, 2018 at St. Joseph`s Catholic Church ,with Burial to follow at Ector County Cemetery Odessa II section. Services by Martinez Funeral Home.
