Edward Burditt

Edward Louis Big Hands Burditt was born August 21, 1957, to the union of Bertha Lee Simmons and Carl Burditt.

He was the youngest of five children. Eddie journeyed to his eternal home on Thursday, November 7, 2013. Graveside Service will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m at Rosehill Cemetery.

He received his formal education in Odessa, Texas, graduating from Ector High School in 1975. He had a love for drawing, and pursued an education in drafting at Odessa College. He worked for many years as a roustabout, and later as general laborer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha Lee and Carl Burditt.

He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters: Latasha Clemons Josh, Shatoria Walker Kouveion and Sherenda Jones Lonnie, all of Odessa, TX. Two sisters: Debra C. Bledsoe Garland of Cypress, TX and Mary L. Gilzean Lyndon of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Two brothers: Ernie Carl Burditt Bettye of Venus, TX and Willie P. Burditt, Sr. Evelyn of Odessa, TX. Three granddaughters: Joslyn Clemons, Samariah Walker and Keandria Walker, all of Odessa, TX.

Four grandsons: Michael Anthony Clemons, Jorri Brannon, Jaythan Jones and Jamere Jones, of Odessa, TX. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to the care of Martinez Funeral Chapels and Crematory, 1040 South Dixie, Odessa, TX 79761.
