Edward Dominguez

Edward Segovia Dominguez, 65, of Odessa passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 in Odessa, Texas.

Services for Mr. Dominguez are as follows: Visitation is 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, with a rosary at 7:00 PM.  Mass will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Ector County Cemetery.

Edward was born in Roswell, NM to Melquiadez and Florence Dominguez on March 4, 1955. He went to school in Odessa, TX and completed early so that he could enlist into the US Army in 1972 at the age of 17. Dad went on to marry his first love Margarita Barreraz and together they moved to Germany where he was stationed and had his first-born son before coming back state side. Dad served for 5 years and was a veteran of the US Army. And in dads' words shit happens and he found his second love Maria de Jesus Minjarez and together they had 4 kids. He was an awesome father and loved being a grandfather. He protected and loved his kids so much they were his life. One of the biggest Dallas Cowboys fans made sure to never miss a game.

Edward is preceded in death by the two people he cherished the most in the world his parents, his beloved sister Rosie Sauceda, his brothers Abel & Rudolfo (Fito) Dominguez, as well as a brother-in-law Richard Sauceda.

Edward is survived by his children son Steveon Dominguez & wife Tomasena of Kileen, TX, daughters Rosalinda Lopez & husband Angel, Valerie Dominguez & Vanessa Dominguez and his baby boy Edward de Jesus Dominguez (E.J) all of Odessa, TX. His sisters Lydia Dominguez of San Antonio, TX, Juanita Rodriguez (Johnny), Helen Dominguez, of Odessa, TX and brothers Tony Dominguez and Danny Dominguez (Martha) also of Odessa, TX. His grandchildren: Nathanyel, Adam & Alyxandria Lopez, Erin Mendoza, Elias, Adrian, Jesus, Roque, & Alvaro Madrid all of Odessa, TX, Lluvia & Angel Martinez & Leobardo (LJ) Lopez of Kermit TX, Laselle Saenz, Cataleya & Armando Dominguez of Odessa, TX and Rogelio & Zoey Dominguez of Tulia, TX., Anthony D. Galick of Copperas, TX, Jadyn R. & Justice D. Dominguez of Odessa, TX, Esabella A. Dominguez of Kileen, TX. An honorary aunt who was more like his sister Abby Montoya. As well as numerous nephews, nieces and more extended family.

Honorary Pallbearers will be two of his nieces Lydia & Joann Rojero, Robert Rojero, Ismael Porras, Israel Porras, Ricky Dominguez, Tony Dominguez Jr & Angel Dominguez.

We his children would like to take the time to express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and every one of you all for all your prayers and presence during this most difficult time. We were not ready to see him go but his journey here was done, until we hug you again dad we will always miss and love you!!
