Elario Aladine Lujan went home to the Lord peacefully in his home October 30, 2020. Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Services will be Friday, November 6, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Larry Lujan was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Joe S. Lujan and Susie Lujan on April 18th, 1950. He married his beautiful wife Bernice Rael on April 24th, 1968 in Tlaxcala, Mexico. Larry was a highly respected employee of the oil and gas industry for 49 years. He was honored to serve his country as a veteran of the Vietnam War in the Marine Corp. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Star. RVN Cross of Gallantry with Palm and Frame. Known for his love of chocolate and his candy stash, he was called Grandpa by 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Larry Lujan is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Joe and Susie Lujan; Brothers, Al Lujan, Junior Lujan, Jimmy Lujan, Johnny Martinez, Phil Lujan, Victor Martinez, Manuel Lujan; Grandsons, Baby Al Lujan and Paul Stewart; and many wonderful friends.
Larry is survived by his Loving wife, Bernice Lujan; his son, Larry Lujan; daughter, Anna Sanchez and husband Ralph Sanchez; son, Joe Lujan and wife Angie Lujan; daughter, Joylynn Phillips and husband Darrin Phillips; son, Robert Lujan and wife Amy Sanchez; his sister, Prady Bowman and husband Roger Bowman; brothers, Sammy Lujan, Eddie Lujan, and Luis Lujan; grandchildren, Rene Lujan, Larra Lujan, Michael Lujan, Launadi Castillo, Joe Lujan Jr., Elizabeth Lujan, Larry McNeill, Cristina Lujan, Madison Lujan, Nathan Phillips, Matthew Sanchez, Milani Sanchez, Divani Phillips, Mason Lujan, and Ricky Lujan; and great-grandchildren, Ella Nichols, Emily Lujan, Emmitt Lujan, Makayla Lujan, Michael T. Lujan, Arris Rico, Tyler Lujan, Angielisa Rico, Aariel Rico, Brixxon Jones, Veighlor, and Luke Lujan.
