Elba Robinson

Lavina Robinson passed away at home on March 23, 2017 with her daughter Sheila by her side. Lavina was 97 years old. Lavina Storey was born on October 25, 1919 in Oklahoma City, OK. She married Tillman Alva Robinson on November 2, 1938 where they had 63 wonderful years together before his death on September 23, 2001.
Lavina was a warm & loving person who loved doing for other people. She loved the Lord, her family & her church. Lavina Robinson was a proud member of Green Field Acres Baptist Church & the Hope Sunday School Class.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her 3 daughters. Sheila Goddard of Odessa, TX, Barbra Gartin of Colorado and Kay Cox of Oregon. Thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Cody Kelley, David Williams, James Gartin and Dustin Hinders. Honorary pallbearer: Clark Spiller.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 2 - 9pm at Martinez Funeral Home, 2040 S Dixie, Odessa, TX.
Burial & Graveside Services will be on Monday, March 27, 2017 in Tularosa, NM at 1:00pm with David Williams officiating.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00am at Green Field Acres Baptist Church, 2114 W Yukon, Odessa, TX with Reverend Mike Bartlett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Green Field Acres Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
