Elena V. Hernandez, 68, of Fort Stockton, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born February 5, 1945 in Gregory, TX to Raul Juanita Nunez Villarreal.

She was a substitute teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Eduardo Hernandez of Fort Stockton daughters, Cindy Trevino of Alpine, and Vanessa McLean of Lubbock sisters, Santos Hernandez of Gregory, MaryAnn Morales of Falfurrias, and Christina McKinstry of Corpus Christi 6 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.

Private services will be conducted by the family following cremation.
