Elizabeth Soriano

Elizabeth Soriano “Liz” (48) passed away Thursday June 22nd, 2023 in Odessa, Texas.

Elizabeth was born in El Paso, Texas to José Luis Anchondo and Elizabeth Partida on May 7th, 1975. She obtained her G.E.D in Odessa and obtained her Medical Billing certificate at American Commercial College. She married Ventura Soriano on March 10th, 1990 in Odessa, Texas. She began her Medical Record Career at Sienna Nursing and Rehab Center and finished her career at Buena Vida Nursing and Rehab.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and her sister Brandy and cousins.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband Ventura Soriano, her 2 children, son Miguel Soriano and wife Judy Soriano, daughter Esmeralda Gonzales and husband Gavino Gonzales, her 2 pride and joys, Michael Soriano and Leilani Gonzales. Parents, Jose Luis Anchondo and Elizabeth Partida. Brothers, Joe Anchondo and spouse Martha, Jose Parra and spouse Desiree, Daniel Anchondo, Eric Anchondo. Sisters, Monica Peña and spouse Sal, Guadalupe Parra and spouse Jaime, Lilia Davis and spouse Leonard, Mindy Clerkley and spouse Kenny. And numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is set for Tuesday June 27, 2023, from 1PM-9PM with a rosary at7PM at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass is set for 10AM Wednesday June 28, 2023, at St Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Carlos Rodriguez officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Miguel Soriano, Michael Soriano, Gavino Gonzales, Joe Anchondo, Jose Parra and Fabian Ortiz Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Roman Gonzalez Jr., Gabriel Gonzalez, Anthony Anchondo, Jaime Castorena Jr., and Alex Anchondo.

The family of Elizabeth wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all her doctors and angels along her journey.
