Elizabeth Yorio

Elizabeth Marie (Farris) Yorio, age 73 loving mother of three and adoring wife to the late Michael Louis Yorio passed away peacefully in her sleep late December 15, 2022 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Betty as she was fondly called was born on August 6, 1949 in Niagara Falls, New York. Betty grew up in Niagara Falls with her hard working devoted parents who she sought to emulate. She graduated from Lee College Nursing School where she received her Associates as an RN. Afterwards she worked both for St. Lukes Hospital and Bay Shore Medical Center for a total of 34 Years.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Micheal Yorio Sr., Her parents Emma Eugenia Aguglairo and Larry Farris both of NIagara Falls New York, and her brothers Lawrance Farris and Anthony Aguglairo.

Betty is survived by her sister Maryanne Duchesneau, her children Micheal Yorio Jr.and wife Susan of Murfreesboro Tennessee, daughter Angel Young from Catskill New York, son Jeffery Yorio and wife Lizzie from Odessa Texas. Grandchildren Alexis Youn, Ethan Young, Gabriela Bosques and Gabriel Bosques.

Betty will always be remembered for being hard working and her love of Nursing. Per her request her ashes will be spread along with her husbands at their Ranch in Grapeland Texas this Spring. The Family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Star Hospice for keeping her comfortable during her final days and to their extended family and friends for the phone calls and prayers.
