Elpidia Carrasco Salvtierra, Passed from this Life and Entered eternal rest on April 14,2018 in Lubbock Texas.

She was born in Saragosa, TX to Manuel Carrasco and Cesaria Martinez
on July 11, 1944. She went to school in Balmorhea, TX.

She married Dago Salvatierra on September 6 ,1962 in Durango, Mexico. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking & baking for her family and also enjoyed sewing and crafting. She loved the company of her children,grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was an amazing person that opened her home and
heart to anyone. She was quick to lend an ear and gave the best advice. She was loved by
many people and her presence will be missed dearly.

Elpidia is preceded in death by her father Manuel Carrasco, mother Cesaria Martinez Carrasco;
Siblings: Maria Machuca, Luis Carrasco, Feliz Chavarria, Sarah Hernandez; Grandchildren:
Mathew Lara, Adrian Castillo, Adrian Aiden Fierro.

Elpidia is survived by her Spouse: Dago Salvatierra; Children: Dee-Dee & Jack Merrill, Lori
Holguin, Gracie Salvatierra, Martha & Gabriel Cook, Emma & Edward Lara; Siblings: Chale
Carrasco, Robert Carrasco, Diega Hernandez, Cesaria Alvarez, Ernestina Carrasco and Ofelia
Rodriguez; 15 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Tuesday April 17, 2018 from 2pm to 9pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel, A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm Wednesday April 18, 2018 at Iglesia La Esperanza ( located 3102 E. University Blvd. Odessa, Texas 79762) with Pastor: Emilio Bustamante officiating, Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery the Odessa II section, Services by Martinez Funeral Home.
