Elva "Kelo" Alvarado Bermea

Long time resident of Odessa TX Passed away Friday, July 5th, 2024, Peacefully at her residence.

She was born in Artesia New Mexico, to Apolonio Alvarado and Maria Luz Marquez.

Kelo And her husband Jesus Bermea Sr (Jessie), settled in Odessa over 45 years ago. She became a home maker to 3 boys, 8 Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She loved to talk on the phone with friends and family, she loved to cook and shop until she lost her vision.

Elva is survived by her son’s of Odessa. Manuel Bermea (Rosie), and Jesus Bermea Jr (Rosie). Two brothers Of Odessa Uvaldo Alvarado (Veronica), and Manuel Alvarado. She is also survived by eight Grandchildren. Cynthia Trevino, Destiny Bermea (Marc), Magan Gamino (Roberto), Ashley Menchaca (Hector), Manuel Bermea (Tania), Melony Bermea, Jessica Bermea, Jesus Bermea III And many Great-Grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her Husband Jesus V. Bermea Son Freddy Bermea, two Great-Grandkids Jaeden Hinojosa, and Ezekiel Menchaca. Her Mother and Father. Sisters Librada Navarrete, Eva Paz, Armida Bermea, and Natividad Calbillo. Brother Ramon Alvarado.

Viewing for Elva will be Wednesday July 10, 2024 at 8am - 9pm Rosary from 7-8pm At Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday July 11, 2024 at 10am At St Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Bernardito Getigan. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Manuel Bermea Jr, Jesus Bermea Jr, Matthew Galindo, Jesiah Salazar, Marc Huertas, Roberto Gamino, and Hector Menchaca
