Elvira Lujan

Elvira Miranda Lujan, 94, peacefully left our world to join her Lord and dear loved ones on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Odessa, Texas.

Elvira was born in San Juan Bautista, Chihuahua Mexico to Agustine M Miranda and Sofia Hernandez on October 15, 1926. She went to school in San Juan Bautista, Chihuahua Mexico. She married the love of her life, Manuel B Lujan on May 3, 1947 in Mexico. They shared 69 years of marriage full of love and joy. She was a very loving and caring homemaker all her life.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with Rosary scheduled at 6:00 PM.  Burial service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Jal County Cemetery in Jal, New Mexico.

Elvira is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel B. Lujan; her parents, Agustine Miranda and Sofia Hernandez Miranda; her son, Juan Lujan; her brothers, Monserrat Miranda and Rogelio Miranda; her grandchild, Agustine S. Lujan.

Elvira is survived by her children, Guadalupe Lujan (Elsa), Raul Lujan (Elva), Manuel Lujan Jr. (Melinda), Jorge Lujan, Sr. (Lorenza), Ysmael Lujan, Sofia Payen (Raymundo), Blanca Salmon (Armando), Lucema Ortega (Andres); her brother, Ramiro Miranda of Odessa, Texas; her grandchildren, Juan Humberto Lujan (Fabiola), Gilberto Lujan (Terri), Elizabeth Lujan Santos (Adrian), Juan Diego Lujan, Magdalena Clarrisa Ramirez (Pilar), Natalia Lujan Rodriguez (Javier), Fabiana Lujan, Elvira Martinez (Chris), Josue Lujan (Roxann), Nadia Hinojos (Omar), Jennifer M Lujan, John C Lujan (April), Jorge C Lujan Jr, Jorge L Calderon (Nereyda), Kasandra M Payen, Franchesca N Cienfuegos (Nicholas), Raymundo Payen Jr, Gabriella M Salmon, Ysenia Y Salmon, Zulema Aguilar (Adrian), Vanessa Ontiveros (Noel) and Fabian Ortega; her great grandchildren, Ester, Jaqueline, Isabel, Vidalia, Alondra, Atilana, Juan Manuel, Marcus, Enrique, Jonathan, Fernando, Adrian, Pilar, Ximena, Itzel, Damian, Sterling, Amri, Avary, Logan, Paisley, Case, Zayne, Zoey, Cayden, Camryn, Jorgia, Olivia, John Jaxon, Jorge Lewis Jr., Reylynn, Alessio, Noelani, Damian, Madelynn and Brielle.
