Emilio D. Avila, 73 of Odessa, passed away on September 21, 2016 in Yuriria, Guanajuato Mexico.

Visitation will be held 5pm -9pm Wednesday, September 28, 2016 and 10am -9pm

Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held at 1pm Friday, September 30, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with
Father Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Rosehill Garden.
Arrangements are under Martinez Funeral Home. Under the direction of Funeral Director Nancy Olvera
Emilio was born in Torreon, Mexico to Serafina Diaz and Agustin Avila on August 5, 1943.
He married Dolores D. Avila on January 30th, 1988 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a professional singer, songwriter and drummer.
Emilio is preceded in death by Dolores D. Avila.
Emilio is survived by daughters, D'Angela D. Avila, Idalia Avila, Xochitl Avila, sons, Tino Rodriguez, Javier Emilio Avila Jr.
Obed Avila and 16 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.
Pallbearers will be Albert Amador, Hugo Avila, Emilio Avila Jr., Jesus Juarez, Bryan Saenz, Obed Avila.
The family of Emilio wish to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has joined us to
