Emilio Gamboa Navarette, 68 of Odessa TX passed away on September7, 2015 in Odessa TX.
Viewing will be Thursday September 10, 2015 from 10 AM to 9 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM at Martinez Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday September 11, 2015 at St Joseph's Catholic Church
With Father Isador Ochiabato officiating.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Section. Arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home under the direction of Funeral Directors Tony Lujan and Nancy Olvera.
Emilio was born in Barstow TX to Procopio and Ramona Navarette on January 15, 1947 he went to school in Barstow TX. He married Agustina on November 10, 1968 in Barstow TX.
He graduated from Barstow High. He worked as a supervisor for the Water Distribution for 20 years. He was also a self-employed welder for 15 years. He served in the US Army, He recived City Employee of the year.
Emilio is preceded in death by Julia Acosta, Elia Garcia, Pablo Navarette , Calistro Navarette. Parents Procopio Navarette and Ramona Navarette.
Emilio is survived by his wife Augustina Aldaz Navarette. Son Daniel Navarette (Starrlit)
And a daughter Ramona Mata (Fidel Mata) five sisters Mage Navarette, Eloisa Trevinio, Modesta Hinojos, Lena Sanchez, and Ramona Navarette. One granddaughter Camille Mata and two step- grandchildren. Elisha Mata & Fidelito Mata of Fort Stockton TX.
Pallbearers will be Leo Hinojos, Raul Sanchez, Rudy Sylvas, Fidel Jr Mata. Hector Porras, Lupe Jaquez. The family of Emilio wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Dessert Milagros Dialysis Center and to the staff at Medical Center Hospital. Thanks to all family members that helped us in our time of need.
