Emma Jean Elliott, 65, was called home on Saturday 24,2018 in Odessa, Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Martinez Funeral Home with Reverend David Tunson officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Odessa II section. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Emma Elliot was born in Ralls, Texas to Jesse and Bessie Watkins on June 6, 1952. She attended Ector High School in Odessa, Texas. She married Donald Ray Elliot in 1981. Emma worked as a Home keeper to several families for over 20 years.
Emma is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Watkins Sr., mother: Bessie Watkins, husband: Donald Ray Elliott, sister: Jessie Watkins, brother: Jesse Watkins Jr.,and great-grandson: Riley Rasmus.
Those left to cherish her sweet memories are her three sons: Timothy Watkins (Shavonda) of Houston, Texas; Deon Watkins and Rodney Watkins of Odessa, Texas. Sisters, Janell Banks of Austin, Texas: Evelyn Tunson (Pastor I.D. Tunson , Jr.) of Odessa, Texas. Brothers, Johnny Johnson of Temple, Texas: John Watkins (Ruby) of San Antonio, Texas: Eddie Watkins of Midland, Texas: Robert Watkins of Odessa, Texas: and Willie Watkins of Dallas Texas: a host of grandchildren and three great-grandchildren: and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Derick Ellis, Willie Ellis, Marquette Loud, Eddie Watkins, Robert Watkins, and J.W. Louis.
Honorary Pallbearers are Kenny Green, Victor Dancer, Eric Cox, and Ronald Walton.
