Erlinda Matta Sauseda, 87 years old of Balmorhea Texas, raised in Pecos, Texas passed away on July 14th, 2024 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation from 6pm-9pm on Wednesday July 17th, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9am-9pm on Thursday July 18th, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home. Rosary will be held at 7pm on Thursday July 18th, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Friday July 19th, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Carlos Rodriguez of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery, Los Angeles Section at 11:30am. Arrangements are made by Martinez Funeral Home.

Erlinda is preceded in death by her husband Francisco Sauseda, her parents Nolberto Mata and Juanita Mata, her brothers Felipe Matta, Adan Matta, Miguel “Mike” Matta and Nolberto ”Biro” Matta, Jr. and granddaughter Abby Sauseda.

Erlinda is survived by her sons Armando Sauseda and Francisco Sauseda, Jr., her siblings Eva Matta Valencia and Cipriano Matta, her grandchildren Armando Sauseda Jr., Auden Sauseda, Emily Madrid, Frank Sauseda and wife Miranda Molina.

Pallbearers will be Armando Sauseda Jr., Auden Sauseda, Frank Sauseda, Roberto Arroyo, Jazmin Arroyo and Guadalupe Arroyo Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Brenda Matta Valencia and Pat Matta.
