Eugenio "Gene" Castillo Jr

Eugenio V. Castillo, Jr., was born June 19, 1966 in Odessa, Texas, and was called to his Eternal Home on July 20, 2020.  He passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family.

Gene attended Permian High School through 11th grade and worked several years in the food prep industry.  He is survived by his Mother, Rita Castillo, two sisters, Suzan Empero and Martha Castillo and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Eugenio V. Castillo, Sr., Brother James S. Castillo and Sister, Leticia Castillo Payan.

Gene was a quiet man, but never hesitated to let his family know how much he loved them. He was a deep thinker, a great history buff and loved playing chess.  Gene dearly loved his mother and lived with her all his life.  He was a very kind hearted, compassionate and a very forgiving man.

Our Dear Gene will be missed immensely….his beautiful blue eyes will always be admired.    Forever in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers.  Rest Well Our Beloved Gene.
