Felipe C. Martinez of Odessa TX. Passed away on August 25, 2015. In Odessa TX. He died peacefully,
surrounded by his close family.
Felipe enjoyed watching football and boxing and loved playing dominos and poker.
Rosary will be at 6 pm on Thursday August 27, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday August 28, 2015 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church,
burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
Arrangements are being made by Martinez Funeral Home. Under the care of
Funeral Directors Tony Lujan & Nancy Olvera
Felipe is preceded in death by his parents Pomposo and Isabel Martinez , Brothers Isabel " chavelo " Martinez,
Salvador Martinez, sisters Petra Cortes and Rodriga Fuentes and daughter Yolanda Ibarra.
Felipe is survived by his wife Martha Martinez, his children Isabel Leon of Midland TX.
Imelda Martinez, Felipe Martinez Jr both of Odessa TX. David Martinez, Beatrice Martinez of Pecos TX. Nancy Martinez of Odessa TX,
Sister Golla Ontiiveros of Odessa TX. & 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandkids, & numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be his son Felipe Martinez Jr, son in law Jesse Leon Jr, Nephews Tito Martinez,
Roger Martinez, Richard Ybarra, Raymond Brito, Reno Ramos, and Junior Ramos.
The family of Felipe would like to take this time to express our utmost sincere gratitude
to each and every one of you for all your prayers, floral arrangements, food offerings and
especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. Also a special thanks for
helping us care for our dad with much love and respect and unconditional support to the
Martinez and Ybarra families both of Odessa especially Olivia and Cynthia.
