Felipe M Samaniego, 81 of Odessa, passed away on May 29, 2016 in Odessa, Texas.
Rosary will be held at 7pm Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10am Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Joe Uecker officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County in Rosehill Garden. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Felipe M. Samaniego was born in Alpine, Texas to Rebecca M Samaniego on December 7, 1934. He went to school at Olton. He married Martha Nunez on December 28, 1957 in Odessa, Texas. He worked as a welder and truck driver for many years.
Felipe is preceded in death by mother Rebecca Martinez Samaniego, father Felipe Herrera Samaniego and wife Martha Nunez Samaniego.
Felipe is survived by sons Edward (JoAnn) Samaniego, Rudy (Sophia) Samaniego, David (Lori) Samaniego, daughters Rosemary (Billy) Gamble, Sarah Ann (Rene) Salgado, sister JoAnn Canales, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearerss will be Carlos J. Luna, Reynaldo R. Luna, Alexander J. Salgado, Nicholas D. Samaniego, Evan G. Samaniego, Nathaniel Ian Samaniego, Zachary D. Samaniego. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jennifer M. Dominguez, Maranda N. Samaniego, Madison C. Samaniego and Matthew A. Samaniego.
