Fernando M. Gonzalez

Fernando Gonzalez, age 49, passed away on February 1st 2025 in Lubbock, TX. 

Fernando was born in Levelland Tx to Socorro Marquez and Carlos Gonzalez on August 17, 1975. He went to school at Odessa high school. He married Veronica Gonzalez on June 24, 1995 in Odessa Tx. Fernando worked as a pipe fitter. He loved to be with his children and grandchildren. Fernando also enjoyed being at the ranch with his animals and his dog gunner. He will be remembered as kind hearted and always willing to help anyone in need. He was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Fernando is survived by his wife Veronica Gonzalez, His children Monica Gonzalez Spouse Guillermo Vazquez, Angelica Gonzalez and Spouse Ernesto Salas, Fernando Gonzalez Jr,  Spouse Zaylee Gonzalez, Freddy Gonzalez. His siblings Yolanda Marquez, Carlos Gonzalez Jr, Pole Gonzales, Solia Robertson. His Grandchildren Avrielle Vazquez, Iram Vazquez, Maleni Gonzalez, Mariana Salas, Avianna Vazquez.

Visitation will be held Wednesday February 5, 2025 from 10:00AM - 9:00PM at Martinez Funeral Home "West Chapel" 10137 W. University Blvd Odessa, Texas 79764 with a Rosary at 7:00PM. Mass will be held at 10:00AM Thursday February 6, 2025 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home "West Chapel".

Pallbearers will be Fernando Gonzalez Jr, Freddy Gonzalez, Guillermo Vazquez, Ernesto Salas, Pole Gonzales, Carlos Gonzales Jr.
