Fernando Mireles

Fernando Navarrette Mireles, 57, of Odessa passed on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation for Fernando will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Home Outside Chapel from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  Also, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Home Outside Chapel from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM.  Mass for Fernando are scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.  Interment will take place at Ector County Cemetery, Odessa II section immediately following the Mass.

Fernando was born in Odessa, Texas to Tiburcio and Pilar Mireles on September 21, 1962. He went to school at Odessa High School.

He worked as a handyman and enjoyed hanging out with family and friends.

Fernando loved spending most of his time with his mother, Pilar, and showing unconditional love and support to his family and helped any and every one anytime he could. He also loved telling inspiring stories.

He loved learning and hearing about history and watching his late-night cowboy movies. He will forever be remembered as a funny, intelligent, and caring person through anyone that had the opportunity to meet him. He will be loved and cherished in our hearts forever.

Fernando is preceded in death by his father Tiburcio G. Mireles; and brother, Angel Navarratte Mireles.

Fernando is survived by his daughter, Angel Mireles; brother, Tiburcio Mireles Jr.; sister, Armida Mireles; mother, Pilar Mireles; grandchildren, Amiyah Tealer, Daniel Mireles, and Izaree Mireles; nephew, Justin Mireles; Nieces, Valerie Mireles, Lisa Mireles, Mandy Mireles, Abby Mireles, and Aaliyah Mireles.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Luna, Nat Freeman, Manuel Mireles, Bryan Contreras, Roman Meierhoff, And Rigo Castillo
