Fidela Fuentes

Our beloved mother Fidela Ramirez Fuentes passed away December 17, 2022 surrounded by her daughters .  She was born in Coyame Mexico to Prudencio and Piedad Ramirez on December 18, 1935.

Fidela is preceded in death by her beloved husband Pedro A. Fuentes, her parents Prudencio and Piedad Ramirez, daughter Graciela Vargas, son Arturo Fuentes, and her siblings Celso Ramirez, Gabino Ramirez, Esperenza Riveria and Octavio Ramirez

Pallbearers will be grandsons: Michael Madrid, Anthony Fuentes, Christopher Ramirez, Jonathon Wilson, Jaime Vargas and Granddaughter Adrianna Hernandez.

Visitation will be held Tuesday December 20, 2022, from 1:00-9:00 Rosary will be Tuesday December 20,2022 at 7:00pm at Martinez Funeral Home

Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday December 21, 2022, at 10:00am at St Anthony’s Catholic Church

Interment following funeral Service December 21, 2022 Ector County Cemetary Rosehill Section

She married Pedro Fuentes August 15, 1952 in Pecos and of that bond had 5 children.  She was a homemaker.  She loved to spend most of her time in the kitchen and you never left her home hungry. She was always known to have a big heart, if she saw you struggling, she was always there to help. Children always had a special place in her heart, she would help take care of a lot of the neighbor’s kids. When it came to birthdays she was one to never forget and she would call you to sing happy birthday to you first thing in the morning with a pineapple upside down birthday cake in the oven. At the end of the day, she would relax by watching her favorite movies “Selena” and “Home Alone.”

Those left to cherish her love and memory are her beloved daughters Irma Ramirez and Sandra Hernandez (Manuel). One sister Graciela Gomez two sister in laws Anita Ramirez and Tina Ramirez 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews.
