Florie Nell Prince was born July 5, 1941 in Terrell, Texas to the late Mabel and Clifford Prince. She was the second oldest of nine children.
Florie attended Blackshear High School and received her high school diploma from Odessa College. She also attended Odessa College. Florie was employed 31 years by Seabury Nursing Facility as a nurse aide and was promoted to a certified nurse aide. She excelled in medication. Florie was an amazing kind woman filled with compassion and interest in others. She was a member of Prayer House COGIC in Odessa, Texas.
Florie was preceded in death by both parents and her eight siblings: Charles Prince, Clifford Prince, Tommy Prince, Arthur Prince, Michael Prince, Barbara Prince, Elliott Prince and Bobby Dewayne Dooley.
She leaves to celebrate the life she lived one son: John Thomas Peterson Jr.; five daughters: Diana Peterson, Pamela Peterson, Johnnie Lanell Peterson, Robin M. Peterson and Vickie R. Peterson; three grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.
