Ruth Davis (Madia) was born April 24, 1923 to the late Runnie and Fannie Johnson in Stamford, Texas. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Stamford. She was a Christian who loved the Lord and a favorite quote was "I've got my ticket, I'm ready!" As her survivors, we will truly miss her but we are content in the fact that she is finally where she worked so hard to be (with GOD in eternity).
She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, the Missionary Society, and City Wide Mission and loved attending Sunday school and church until her health declined.
She was also preceded in death by Elmer Adnandus (Shakey), six sisters and three brothers, a daughter and three sons. She is survived by a sister Sally T. Carey (Oakland,Ca), Billy Ray Johnson (Los Angeles, Ca) and Ben Johnson (Midland). Also, daughters Evelyn Hall (Flower Mound), Frances Jackson (San Antonio), Angela Taylor (Lewisville), Sandra Babineaux (Leesville), Beverly Adnandus (Watauga) and Shirley Arkadie (Odessa). Also, a host of grandchildren, great grands, nieces, nephews, god children and very close friends who will truly miss her for the love she showered on them through the years.
We Love you Madia, miss you already
