Francisca Maldonado

Francisca A. (Mema) Maldonado, age 74, of Odessa, TX, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 20, 2016 in Odessa.
Francisca was born and raised in Dilley, TX on April 7, 1942 to Marciano Acosta and Elisa Escobedo Acosta.
She met and married Manuel T. Maldonado in 1959.
They moved to Odessa in June of 1968 where they raised 4 children. She was a homemaker.
She was a person that was very hospitable and would offer help to anyone who needed it.
She loved cooking and taking care of her family as well as good friends. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Francisca is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel T. Maldonado, her parents, Marciano Acosta and Elisa Escobedo Acosta.
She is survived by her children, Manuel A. Maldonado and his wife Juanita of Odessa, TX, Yolanda A. Maldonado of
Odessa, TX, Lydia A. Maldonado of Odessa, TX and Antonio A. Maldonado and his wife Libby of Odessa, TX, sisters,
Leandra Zepeda of Dilley, TX, Senaida Acosta of Dilley, TX and Maria Morales of Racine, Wisconsin,
brothers, Mario Acosta of Marble Falls, TX, Jose Acosta of Dilley, TX, five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass Service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with
Father Michael Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.
