Francisca Ortega

Francisca Kica Ortega, 63 of Odessa went to be with our Lord on December 24, 2014 at her residence in Odessa.
Visitation will be 1pm to 9pm Saturday and 12pm to 9pm Sunday December 27 28, 2014 with a Rosary on Sunday at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday December 29, 2014 at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Pastor Fernando De Luna officiating. Burial will follow at Ector Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.
Francisca was born in La Joya, Chihuahua to Roberto Rodriguez and Ernestina Barrera on March 2, 1951. She married the love of her life, Ramon in 1971 in La Joya, Chihuahua. Francisca Kica was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista, and an excellent wife and mother. Her pride and joy was having her three children complete higher education studies. She will always be remembered for putting everyone before her, for her excellent cook, hardworking, strong, and always providing to everyone. Franciscas purpose in life was her children.
Francisca is preceded in death by her parents.
Francisca is survived by her husband Ramon Ortega, daughter Mireya Victor Gomez, of Lubbock, sons David Dolores Ortega of Odessa and son Rafael Silvia Ortega of San Antonio, Texas, sisters Ernestina Kidd, Maria Magdalena Alvarado and Maria Meza, grandchildren, Desi, Dani, Doni, Davi, Sebastian and Isabela Ortega and Victoria Gomez.
