Francisco (Frank) Rodriguez, age 70, passed away on February 11, 2015 due to heart failure at North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills, Texas. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle that will be missed all. He was a special kind of person who was loved because of his generous caring heart and his witty personality.
Frank was born in Barstow, Texas to Francisco Sr. and Margarita Rodriguez on August 13, 1944. He married Pauline Garza on September 26, 1960 at the very young age of 15. Frank and Pauline spent 54 glorious years together and he spent his life making the love of his life happy. He was self-employed doing residential and commercial flooring and spent his life providing for his family and close relatives. He did everything possible to get his family everything they needed, plus things they only dreamed of. He was the kind of person that gave his opinion whether a person wanted to hear it or not, and was extremely loved because of his caring personality.
He was preceded in death by his parents Francisco Sr. and Margarita, his younger brother Fernando Rodriguez, and his younger sister Maria Elena Rodriguez.
Frank is survived by his wife Pauline Rodriguez, his children Alice Rodriguez-Bandak, Ruben Francisco Rodriguez, Yvonne Rodriguez-Purvis, and Andrea Rodriguez-Davenport, as well as his grandchildren Sean Michael Rodriguez, Desiree Marie Rodriguez, Ruben Gabriel Rodriguez and Greland Angelina Davenport. He was also survived and loved by his son-in-laws Kevin Purvis, and Gregg Davenport and daughter-in-law Maria Fernandez Rodriguez.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday February 17, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Deacon Jesse Ortiz officiating. Burial services will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery with arrangements made by Martinez Funeral Home.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who helped during this very difficult time and provided donations to assist with funeral arrangements. We know Frank was respected and loved by so many people and we want you to remember him the way he was, with his wonderful smile and great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by his family and we will cherish all of the wonderful memories and years we had with him.
