Fred Wesley Henry

Fred Wesley Henry, age 78, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on March 9, 2025. He was born on November 23, 1946, in Odessa, Texas, to the late James Lee Henry and Margaret Henry.

He received his education in Ector County Independent School District attending Douglass and Carver elementary schools and graduating from Blackshear Junior Senior High School in 1965. Fred was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He attended trade school and received his certification as an outstanding dental technician.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee Henry and Margaret Henry, and his sister Margaret Perkins.

The family that remains to cherish his memories are sons Cedric Henry (Georgia), Frederick Henry (Florida) and Esias Henry (Texas); daughter Sherrylle Henry (Texas); James Edward Henry (Judy) of Washington DC and Lawrence Henry (Shirley) of Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Rest in peace, dear Fred. Your spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
