Gabriel Rodriguez

Mr. Gabriel Joseph Rodriguez, 55, of Odessa, Texas was called to his eternal rest on Friday, February 5, 2021.

Visitation for Gabriel will be held 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel and 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary at 6:00 PM.  Mass will be held 2:00 PM on Monday, February 22, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Mark officiating.  Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Gabriel was born on May 21, 1965, to Eusebio and Alicia Salcido Rodriguez in Pecos, Texas.  Our Father was a loving, and hardworking man that would always be there for us when we needed him.  He worked as a natural gas mechanic for over 20 years before summer 2020 when he started work in construction along with his two sons, Joseph and Joshua.  When the job ended in August our dad decided to take the rest of the year off and just enjoy life.  That is exactly what he did, until he contracted COVID mid-December.  He fought a great battle; along came some good days and some bad.  His pain and suffering ended on February 5, 2021 and he will forever be missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eusebio Rodriguez, and his brother, Mike Rodriguez.

He is survived by his wife, Nanette Rodriguez; daughter, Crystal Rodriguez (David Beltran); son, Joseph Rodriguez (Alex Serna); son, Joshua Rodriguez (Pamela Rodriguez); daughter, Bella Rodriguez; mother, Alicia Rodriguez; brother, Robert Rodriguez; sisters, Helen Esparza, Amy Rodriguez, Sylvia Garcia; grandchildren, Ethan Franco, Eli Mata, Armani Beltran, Sophia Rodriguez, Katalina Rodriguez.

Pallbearers are as follows: Joseph Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez II, Ethan Franco, Joshua Rodriguez, Victor Bejarano, Jason Esparza, Alex Villa, and David Beltran
