George Bustamante Barriga

George Bustamante Barriga, 79, of Odessa, passed away on February 18th, 2023, in Odessa.

Visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 10:00AM - 9:00PM with a Rosary at 7:00PM.Chapel Service will be held at Martinez Funeral Home on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10:00AM.

George was born in Presidio Texas to George and Tomasa Barriga on June 5th, 1943. He went to school in Pecos Texas. He married Maria Santos on June 25th, 1972, in Odessa Texas. He worked at Jack Jordan’s BBQ for numerous years.

George is preceded in death by his father and mother, Sister Sylvia Barriga, Brothers Arnulfo Barriga, Ruben Barriga, Zeke Barriga, Manuel Muñiz

George is survived by wife Santos Barriga, Sons; George Aguilera Barriga III- Yvonne Barriga, Cecil Aguilera Barriga - Sandra Barriga Grandchildren; George Aric Barriga IV - Stephanie Barriga, Leslie Muñoz - Matthew Muñoz, Steven Barriga, Crystal Barriga, Savannah Barriga, Great-Grandchildren; Andrea Barriga, Braylen Barriga, Step-grandkids- Addison Abalos & Isaiah Gardea, Brother; Omar Barriga and 3 sisters, Grand dog- Ollie (“cowboy”) Muñoz
