Geronimo G. Salazar

Geronimo Gardea Salazar, 90, of Ojinaga, Mexico passed to be with the Lord on Friday, July 2, 2021 in Odessa, TX. He was born September 30, 1930 to Crecensio Salazar and Anita Gardea Salazar.

Geronimo was a loving Father and Grandfather. He loved family get togethers and joking around. He would always say he was strong and still full of life. There was always a smile on his face along with telling stories about his life.

Those left to cherish and love his memory are Wife: Socorro Bersoza Salazar, Brother: Faustino Gardea Salazar, Sons: Benancio Salazar, Jeronimo Jr. (Avigail) Salazar, Daughters: Sylvia (Pedro) Ramos, Anita (Juan) Lerma, Griselda (Carlos) Martinez, Aida (Fabian) Gonzalez, Step-daughter Martha Montes. Along with 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother: Francisco Gardea Salazar, sisters: Nicha Villanueva, Dominga Martinez, Maria Salazar and Feliciana Arroyo.

Pallbearers will be Jeronimo Jr. Salazar, Fabian Gonzalez, Lino Lerma, Carlos Jr. Martinez, Miguel Angel Ramos, and Pedro Jr. Ramos.
