Gilbert Lopez Sr

Gilbert R Lopez Sr., 68, of Odessa passed away on January 26, 2015 in Odessa, TX.
Visitation will be 11am to 9pm Saturday January 31, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Gilbert was born in Fort Stockton to Jose and Consuelo Lopez on July 29, 1946. He went to school in Fort Stockton, TX. He married Norma Martinez on May 4, 2002 in private. He worked as a truck driver for Halliburton for fifteen years.
Gilbert is preceded in death by Jose Lopez, Consuelo Lopez, Victor Lopez, Ramiro Lopez and Esequiela Martinez.
Gilbert is survived by a daughter and five sons and five brothers and three sisters, Erma Lorena Salas, Robert, Gilbert, Shane, Arcadio Lopez and Jonathan Martinez, Brothers Fernando, Roy, Ector, Felipe, Braulio Lopez and Sisters Josefina, Amelia, and Odelia and fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Shane (the cross). The family of Gilbert R Lopez wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Kaczor and Dr. Kendwall and the staff of Texas Oncology, the staff of MCH and Sylvia Perez.
