Gloria Villasoto

Gloria Alolong Villasoto died at her home in Odessa on Thursday, April 21, 2016, surrounded by her daughter, Marilou, her son-in-law, Gilbert, and her grandson, Paul. She died of cancer at 72. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Monday on April 25, 2016 at St. Marys Catholic Church, and burial services will follow at the Ector County Cemetery. Gloria was born September 14, 1944 to Manuel and Catalina Alolong in Alimodian, in the province of Iloilo in the Philippines. She was the fifth of twelve children.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilou Escano and her husband Gilbert Escano; her grandson Paul Gilbert Escano; and her seven siblings: Julia Castillo, Gertrude Zara, Aurora Yazon, Lucille Alibagon, Antonio Alolong, Corazon Corrales, Noli Alolong and Aurelio Alolong. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vicente Villasoto; her parents, Manuel and Catalina Alolong; and her siblings: Eusebio, Frank and Loreto Alolong
