Gracelia H. Tarango, 65, died Thursday, September 7, 2017 in the comfort of her Daughter's home following a seven-year battle with cancer.
She is survived by daughters: Mandie and Hector Granado, Lselda and Damon McGilvray. Sons: Robert and Jill Tarango, Jeremiah and Jessica Tarango, and Jaime Tarango, all of Odessa, TX. Brothers: Robert Hernandez of Tuscon, AZ., and Ricky Florez of Pecos, TX. Sisters: Yolanda Florez, Connie Herrera, and Olga Munoz of Pecos, TX., Linda Hernandez of San Antonio, TX., and Nora Hernandez of Big Spring, TX. Grandchildren: Isaac, Anthony, Robert, Roman, Hector, Clarissa, and Jennifer Granado, William, Cheyenne, and Ben McGilvray, Jose and Augustine Rodriquiez, Isaiah, Alyssa, Dylan, Nohemi, Emmitt, and Solana Tarango, Emma, Blake and Colby Craig, and 17 great grandchildren
Proceeded in death by her beloved husband Robert L. Tarango and sister Gloria Ontiveros.
Born in Loving, N.M., and raised in Pecos, TX. She spent her adult life in Odessa, TX.
Grace spent her life as a homemaker. She had a passion for dogs and always had one or two by her side. She loved to spend her free time painting. Grace was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene for many years. She loved the Lord, her family, and friends with all her heart.
