Guillermo "Willie" Salas July 28, 1962-March 13, 2021 On March 13, 2021, Guillermo "Willie" Salas of Odessa, Texas passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He will lovingly be remembered by his children: Yvette (Sal) Mendoza, Cassandra (Anthony) Prieto, Guillermo T. Salas; Grandchildren: Jaedyn Prieto, Jristen Prieto, Journey Prieto, Victoria Mendoza, Celeste Mendoza, Zoey Mendoza, and Phoenix Salas; His lifelong friend, Anna M. Flores; Father: Elias W. Salas; Sisters: Bertha Castillo, Elizabeth (Arturo) Segura, Irene (Bruce) Ellyson, Mary (Hector) Magallanes, Connie (Brian) Crawford, and Rosie (Charles) Simmons; Brothers: Dionicio (Norma) Salas, Adam (Lisa) Salas, Abel (Debbie) Salas, and John (Kristy) Salas; Sisters in Law: Delia Salas, and Adelina Salas; And many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Maria Magdalena Salas, his brothers Ruben Salas and Elias Salas Jr., and his brother in law Jack Castillo. He was a loving and affectionate father who loved his grandchildren above all. His smile and laughter will live on in our memories. He was generous and never hesitated to help those in need. He was passionate about his work as an oil field mechanic. He will be dearly missed on Earth but is rejoicing in heaven with our Lord. Visitation service will be held at Martinez Funeral Home 3-9 pm, Thursday, March 18, 2021 and 12-3 pm, Friday, March 19, 2021. Service of Remembrance will be 6-9 pm, Thursday, March 18, 2021. Memorial service will be held 3 pm Friday March 19, 2021 at Martinez Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
