Henry Rand Jr. of Odessa, Texas passed away May 12, 2024, in Odessa, Texas.

Henry Rand Jr. was born in Odessa, Texas to Henry Rand Sr. and Juritha Jean Rand on August 18, 1959. Henry graduated from Ector High School in 1977. Henry was contracted by the state of Texas as a Substance Abuse Counselor from 1997 to 2007 when he took ill.

Henry was a Veteran and Reserved in the U.S Army and was honorably discharged August 30, 1994, He was a faithful member of Texas & Clements Church.

Henry is preceded in death by Parents, Henry Rand Sr. and Juritha Jean Rand who loved and cared for him during his illness until their passing.

Henry is survived by his loving sisters, Debra Sutton of Odessa, Texas, Donna (Rick) Johnson of Cedar Hill, Texas, 5 Children, Dara Ray, Cherri (Ben) Johnson, Ashley and Gabe Hicks of Odessa, Texas, Claire and Johnny Barry of Odessa, Texas, and Emily Maney, 5 Grandchildren, 2 Surviving Aunts and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins. Last but not least Anthony Huckaby of Dallas, Texas who shared an unbreakable loving bond as brothers.

Visitation will be held Thursday May 23, 2024 1PM – 9PM at Martinez Funeral Home. A Celebration of Henry’s Life will take place 10AM Friday May 24, 2024 at Texas & Clements Church of Christ in Odessa, Texas with Pastor Devon Deshields Officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery ~ Odessa II Section.
