Hortencia Franco

Hortencia A. Franco, 88, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on January 12, 2022, in Odessa, Texas.

Rosary will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 7:00 pm at Martinez Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangements are made by Martinez Funeral Home.

Hortencia A. Franco was born in Chihuahua, Mexico to Ramon and Francisca Armendariz on November 10, 1933.  She married Roberto V. Franco in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Hortencia is proceeded in death by her husband, Roberto V. Franco, her parents, Ramon, and Francisca Armendariz, and seven siblings.

Hortencia is survived by Five children, Jesus R. Franco and spouse, Lourdes “Luly” Franco, Yolanda Moreno and spouse Luis Moreno, Sergio Franco, and spouse Elodia “Lolly” Franco, Lillie Romero, and Jesse Franco and spouse Amanda Franco. Three sisters, Lourdes Nieto, Rita Pando, and Manuela Carrillo.

Fifteen Grandchildren, Robert Franco Jr., Jacob Franco, Abraham Franco, Louis Moreno, Eddie Moreno, Mark Franco, Sergio Franco Jr., Lillyette Romero, Alan Romero, Jonathan Romero, Jessica Franco, Marcy Franco, Vanessa Franco, and Twins Jesse & David Franco.

Twelve Great Grandchildren, Marlene Franco, Gisele Franco, Maddi Franco, Abigail Franco, Sidney Franco, Bryson Franco, Conor Dutchover, Jaxon Franco, Myla Franco, Harrison Franco, Lyla Moreno, and Roman Franco.

Pallbearers will be Hortencia’s grandchildren, Robert Franco Jr., Louis Moreno, Eddie Moreno, Mark Franco, Jesse & David Franco, Alan Romero, and Jonathan Romero.
