Ines Acosta

Ines Acosta, 72, of Odessa, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Medical Center Hospital of Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be held today, Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Home with a worship service at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Templo Buenas Nuevas with Pastor Manuel Aguirre officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in the Odessa II Garden.

Ines was born in El Mulato, Chihuahua to Enedina and Eulogio Acosta on November 12, 1944. He married Maria Elsa Acosta on October 10, 1968 in El Mulato, Chihuahua. He was retired from construction. Ines was a great father, brother, uncle and grandfather to his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, cooking for his family and taking care of horses.

Ines is preceded in death by his parents Eulogio Acosta and Enedina Acosta.

Ines is survived by his loving wife Maria Elsa Acosta, children Aide Zuniga from Amarillo, Mariza Acosta from Odessa, Saul Acosta from Odessa, Marisela Acosta from Odessa, Elena Urias from San Antonio, brothers Mario Acosta from Odessa, Ruben Acosta from Odessa, sisters; Graciela Armendariz from Andrews, Hilda Roman from Andrews, Nancy Acosta from Austin, and Irma Acosta from Andrews. He is also survived by his grandchildren Joel Zuniga, Karime Zuniga, Alejandro Zuniga, Andrea Acosta, Alexis Acosta, Elsie Garcia, Shannon Garcia, Erik Urias, and Justin Urias and great-grandchildren Zayden Zuniga, Izaiah Zuniga, Ethan Zuniga, Jayvlen Zachery, and Emery Zachery. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends that were seen as family. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Pallbearers will be Joel Zuniga, Alejandro Zuniga, Erik Urias, Roberto Armendariz, Luis Lujan, Louie Rivera Jr., Ruben Acosta Jr. and Mario Acosta Jr.
