Ismael Montez Orosco Sr., 81, of Monahans, TX, passed away on 9-8-17 in Odessa TX.
Visitation will be 9am - 9pm on 9-11-17 at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on 9-12-17 at Iglesia Bautista El Calvario with Joe Cordova.
Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
Ismael Montez Orosco Sr. was born in Barstow TX to Cleofas and Maria Orosco on 12-20-35. He went to school at Monahan's High School. He married Esther Marin on 1-26-63 in Monahans, TX. He worked as a mechanic and in the oil field for 40 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War era and served in the army and was honorably discharged. He was involved in the Lions Club,
Ismael Montez Orosco is proceeded in death by his wife Esther Orosco, his parents Cleofas and Maria Orosco, his brothers Ramon, Jesus, and Luis Orosco.
Ismael Montez Orosco Sr. is survived by his children, Ismael Jr. and wife Berny Orosco , Estevan Orosco, Steve and wife Minnie Greer, and grandchildren, Andres Bullard and Crystal Orosco Bullard, Lucas and Jasmine Greer, Chris Cardoza and Angelica Orosco Cardoza, Isaac Greer, and Cole Greer.
Pallbearers will be Andres Bullard, Chris Cardoza, Tim Carrasco, Isaac Greer, Cole Greer, Joe Orosco.
