Israel M. Roman, 80, of Odessa, Tx, passed away Friday 01|17|2025, in Matador, Tx.

Israel was born in Pecos, Tx. to Manuel and Gregoria Morales Roman on 02|09|1944. He grew up in Saragosa Tx. The family later moved to Odessa, Tx where he went to school at Ector High School and graduated in 1965. He worked as a Truckdriver for Amerigas for 30 yrs. He lived in Dumas, Tx from 1982-1990. Later was transferred to Tucumcari< NM. where he lived for 10yrs. He retired and worked for Lowes grocery store for 15 yrs. In Odessa, Tx.

Israel is preceded in death by Daughter, Jaymi Darlene Anderson, his Parents, Manuel and Gregoria Roman, Siblings, Infants Carlos and Olivia Roman, Daniel Roman, Nancy Roman Franco (Beto), Charlie "Chale" Roman, Elena Roman, Marylou Apodaca ( Joe), Luis Roman (Lala), Raul Roman (Eloisa), Manuelito Roman (Lupe), Olivia Tellez,

Israel is survived by Children, Imelda M Roman, Israel Roman, Jr. (Rachel) Yasmin R. Roman, Grandchildren Jorge Luis Cano, Mireya I. Cano, Olivia R. Valera, Jeremy Roman, Riley Roman, Cesar Sanchez, Jahadi A. Sanchez, Layali Sanchez, Giovanni Sanchez, Nirvana Roman, Dion Delao, Matthew Delao, Sisters Cora Hinson, Alice Aguirre, Carmen Vige, and Yolanda Roman, sister-in-law

Public visitation has been set for Thursday 01/30/2025 from 1:00pm-9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass is set for 10:00 am Friday, 01|31|2025 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with the Fr. Frank Chavez officiating.

 Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home

Pallbearers will be Tito Roman, Andy Roman, Artie Roman, Keagan Roman, Jeremy Roman, Riley Roman, Gregory Roman, Adrian Cano
