Jennifer Norma Hernandez Llañez was called home on September 23, 2021 in Odessa, Tx.

Visitation will be on Friday October 15, 2021 all afternoon.

Memorial Services will be Saturday from 9am – 11 am at Martinez Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Michael K. Shelton of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.

Jenna was born in Odessa, Tx to Oscar and Sylvia Hernandez on May 7, 1984. She attended Hays and Travis Elementary, Bonham Junior High School and graduated from Permian High School in Odessa Tx where she was a member of JROTC. She married her high school sweetheart Michael Llañez on March 20, 2014.

Jenna was a larger-than-life free spirit. Her smile, laughter, and sense of humor was contagious. Playing left for dead, telling scary stories, movie quotes and get togethers will never be the same. She was a mother, sister, daughter, Friend, and loved her family and always strived to provide for them. With Jenna it’s never goodbye… it’s check you later!

Jenna is proceeded in death by her maternal grandparents, Delfina and Salomon Macias, Parental grandparents Dolores and Jose Hernandez, Honoring godfather George Beane, and her best friend Erica Tapia.

Jenna is survived by her husband Michael Llañez, Sons; Michael Llañez Jr. “Mikey”, Isiah Salomon Llañez, Malachai G. Llañez, Daughters; Isbella F. Llanez, Jazlyn H. Llañez. Mother Sylvia Llañez, Father Oscar Hernandez, Sister; Sabrina Hernandez, Stepsister Catherine Llañez, Stephanie Llañez, Godsister Tanya Marichalar and Jasmine McQueen (Honorary). Brothers; Jerimie Hernandez, Jamie Lujan, Jerald Lujan, Nieces; Maya Routte, Makaila Routte, Maliyah Routte and Great Niece Maveah Sims and Great Nephew Decameron “Nunu” Sims.

Pall Bearers will be Joel Michael Sr. Llañez, Joel Michael Llañez Jr, Shawn R. Llañez, Pete Llañez, Oscar Hernandez, Jerimie Hernandez, Jamie Lujan, Jerald Lujan, Decameron Sims and Darian Long Sims.

We the family would like to sincerely thank all of the medical staff in in the covid wing at ORTHC. Thank you for taking care of our Baby J the best you could. Thank you to all of our family and friends who have shared so much love, prayers, and support. Thank you to our Church family at Pilgrim Rest Baptist. We love you all … rest easy big baby.
