Jessie "Jay" Lopez Jr., 69 of Odessa, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be held 1pm to 9pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 with a Rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Alex Soza officiating.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Odessa II section. Arrangements are under Martinez Funeral Home.
Jessie was born on July 1, 1948 in Midland, Texas to Jessie Larma Lopez and Julia Castellon. Jessie was raised and educated in Odessa, Texas.
He worked as a Cook, enjoyed gardening, dancing and cruzing and listening to music.
Jessie is preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Julia Lopez, his brother Alfred Lopez and sister Alicia Lopez.

Jessie is survived by his siblings; Imelda Lopez, Martha Maxwell, Sylvia Llanez, Susie Ramirez, Velma Rangel, Diana Contreras, Linda Munoz,
Isidro Munoz Jr., Joe Lopez, Adam Lopez, Josephine Anwar, Eva Bako, Norma Lopez and Yolanda Perez.

Pallbearers will be Paul Robledo, Rene Llanez, Joseph Munoz, Kiki Ramirez, Zachary Martinez and Narciso Rico Jr.
