Jesus Sandate

Jesus Sandate, 90 of Odessa, Texas formally of Rock Springs, Texas passed away Wednesday November 22,2017 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be from 9am-9pm Wednesday, November 29th, 2017at Martinez Funeral Home, with a Rosary being recited at 7pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am Thursday, November 30th at St. Joseph's Catholic. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in the Rosehill section. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Jesus Sandate was born in Rock Springs, Texas to Ernesto Sandate & Concha Hernandez on January 26, 1927. He went on to marry Antonia (Toni) Rodriquez. He worked at General Tire for many years till he retired.

Jesus Sandate is preceded in death by his parents Ernesto & Concha Sandate, his wife, Antonia Sandate, Daughter Yolanda (Yoli) Sandate Great grand-daughter Rebekah Cadena, Brother, Antonio Sandate, Sisters, Josie Sandate , & Valentina Sandate.

Jesus Sandate is survived by sons: Jesus Sandate Jr., Paul Sandate (Imelda), Joe Sandate (Carol), Manuel Sandate (Francie), Johnny Sandate (Yolanda), Raymond Sandate(Wanda), Robert Sandate (Rosita), & daughters Virginia King (Rodney) & Mary Sandate. Sisters: Lucia Macias, Dominga Reyes, & Guadalupe Revelez. 34 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren & 11 great-great grand-children.

Pall bearers will be: Joey Melendez, Angel Melendez, David Solis, Manuel Sandate Jr., Gregory Herrera, Corey Herrera, Donny Acosta, & Emilio Sandate. Honorary Pall Bearer: Rogelio Garcia Sr.
