Joe M. Montano,52, of Chihuahua, Chihuahua was called to Heaven on December 24,2020 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will take place at Martinez Funeral home on January 5th from 9am to 9pm. A rosary will be recited on January 5th at 7pm at Martinez funeral home.
Funeral mass will take place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on January 6,2021 at 1:00 pm.
Joe was born in Chihuahua to Jose Montano and Esther Miranda on October 1, 1968. Joe graduated from Odessa High in 1987.
Joe was an excellent pool player and a mentor to many…he was known as “The Legend” or the “Godfather of pool”. Joe has multiple trophies, plaques and accomplishments from his love for the game of pool.
Joe is preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Jose Montano; his Mother, Esther Montano.
Joe is survived by brother, Luis Montano and wife, Carol; Sister, Sandra Rojero and husband, Albert; sister, Gladys Rocha and husband, Alvaro; brother, Cesar Montano and wife, Sauzen; brother, Rigoberto Montano, Bestfriend Jason Jones and Wife Lynnette; Mr. and Mrs. Jason Dutchover; 22 grandnephews and nieces; 17 great grand nieces and nephews. PallBearers are Members of “The Bad Boys”: Albert Rojero, Angel Rojero, Jason Jones, Jason Dutchover, Danny Tyree, Santiago Leal, Cody Brooks, Stoner Lokote.
