John Perkins

John Perkins, 72, of Odessa passed away on January 12, 2022 of brain cancer.

Visitation will be January 19, 2022 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Martinez Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be on January 20, 2022 at 2:00pm

John was born in Vernon, Tx to Maudie and Marion Perkins on June 10, 1949. He married Rhonda on February 14, 1981 in Odessa. He moved mobile homes for many years. He served as a Marine during the Vietnam War. He was awarded 2 purple hearts.

John is preceded in death by his Parents; Maudie and Marion, his Brother; James Mantooth, Troy Mantooth, Billy Ray Mantooth, Donnie Mantooth, Lee Roy Perkins and his Sisters; Tommie Watkins and Bobbie Sue Feemster. He was also preceded in death by a very special brother Terry Perkins.

He is survived by his Wife; Rhonda his Daughter; Michelle and Son in law Jed, Gradchildren; Nate, Noah and Nikole, Sisters; Marqaret Mantooth, Fairy Mantooth, Billy Jo Patterson and his Brother: Jimmy Mantooth, Brother in Law; Monty Wright and wife Pat. Also surviving are many special nieces, nephews, and Friends.
