Johnny Ray Bernal Jr. ,34, of Odessa TX was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on August 6th, 2021 in Odessa, TX.

Johnny Ray Bernal Jr. was born March 22,1987 to Daniel “Danny” Segovia and Eva Peña Segovia on March 22, 1987. He went to school at Richard Milburn. He worked as a windshield technician for his own company Honest Auto Glass Repair and Replacement.  He was the most funny loving guy to be around, always smiling and had a very unique way of telling a story. Never a dull moment when he was around he would make the entire room laugh till your sides hurt. He had such a special way of getting inside people’s hearts, He was truly one of a kind. He loved all types of animals he’s had all sorts of pets but the one who stole his heart and was literally his road dog was his beloved Byson. He loved listening to music his favorite being any decade of Rock Music from Ozzy Osborn to Incubus, Godsmack, and Jimi Hendrix. He had a particular love for Bob Marley who he stated reminded him of his Pops, Danny Segovia. Everyone who knew Johnny Ray with in the last serval years could clearly pick him out of the crowd due to his signature long hair and bandana. He loved going out to the lake , to fish and to be outdoors. He will truly be missed by many, we rejoice in knowing that he is at peace.

Johnny Ray Bernal Jr. is preceded in death by father Daniel “Danny” Segovia, maternal grandfather Humberto Peña, maternal aunt Veronica “Vippy” Peña, paternal grandparents Marcos Segovia and Ida Martinez and paternal aunt Angie Segovia.

Johnny Ray Bernal Jr. is survived by his son Aiden Ray Bernal. Brother David Bernal and spouse Jessica Chavez with children Jaiden Chavez, Danielle Castillo, Ricky Castillo, Jerah Bernal. Sister Ashley Segovia and his mother Eva Peña Segovia. His maternal aunts and uncles Cindy and Joe Chapa, Tina and David Gutierrez and Carlos Pena. His paternal aunts Becky Segovia and Karina Segovia. And course all his cousin on his mother and fathers side, and not to forget all his friends who he saw as his family.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Carrasco, Pat Smith, Randy Hernandez, Alex Gutierrez, Timothy Romo, Josh Chapa, Reynaldo Duran, Oscar Galindo Jr.
