Joe "Felix" Alvarado, 47 of Midland, passed away on March 7, 2015 in Galveston, TX.
Visitation will be held 1pm - 9pm Thursday March 19, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home 1040 S Dixie, Odessa, TX.
Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Friday, March 20, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Midland, TX. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.
Joe was born in Childress, TX to Jose Alvarado and Helen Garcia on September 8, 1967.
Joe is preceded in death by his brother Ernesto Meja, his nephew David Richard Gorecki II and his aunts Elfida Garcia and Mary Morgan.
Our beloved son, brother, father, uncle, cousin and grandfather has gone to be with our Heavenly Father. Joe is survived by his parents: Jose Luis Alvarado and Helen Garcia, sisters Emma Alvarado, Felice Alvarado and Rosa Alvarado. His sons Joe Andrew Alvarado and wife Brittany, Justin Tanner Alvarado, and Jason Richard Alvarado. His grandchildren Joe Andrew Alvarado Jr., Kari Ja'nea Alvarado and Jusiah Justin Alvarado. Joe was loved by all his nieces and nephews, Amanda Collazo, Helen Glass, Robert John Luna, Paco Nicholas Luna, Josie Young, Marinna Perez, Emma Santos, Joel Martinez Jr., Stephanie Diaz, Brandon Elizondo and many many cousins. Joe was loved by especially by his twin Sister Felice. Joe had many talents, had a big heart always willing to lend a helping hand. Joe had a heart filled with lots of love. As we lay our beloved Joe to rest, Joe will always live in our hearts. Joe will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him. Joe touched lots of hearts the years he lived here on earth. We Love You Joe and will miss you dearly.
