Jose Gardea, 85 of Odessa passed away on December 4, 2014 in Odessa, TX.
Visitation will be 9am to 9pm Saturday and 12pm to 9pm Sunday, December 6 7, 2014 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, December 8, 2014 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Ricardo Leyva officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.
Jose was born in Mulato, Ojinaga, Chihuhua to Isidoro Gardea and Isabel Rivera on September 18, 1929.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife, Gabina Urquidi, two sons Jose Luis and Armando Gardea and three daughters, Hilda Gardea, Rosa Maria Gardea and Nancy Gardea and twenty five grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
