Jose Millan

Jose Lorenso Millan, 60, of Odessa, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at Hospice House. He was born August 18, 1952 in Mexico to Celestino and Julia Ortiz Millan.

He worked as a contract welder and was a Catholic.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Julia Millan.

Jose is survived by his wife, Maria Escobar Millan of Odessa sons, Cesar Millan of San Antonio, Joel Millan of Owensboro, KY, and Adolfo Lopez, Jr. of Odessa daughters, Melissa Chabera of Spring and Claudia Schultz of Fountain, CO father, Celestino Millan of Tulsa, OK brothers, Ramon and Jesus Millan, both of Tulsa, OK sisters, Maria Guadalupe Millan of Tulsa, OK, Maria Teresa Millan of Broken Arrow, OK, Rosalia Soto of Broken Arrow, OK, Julie Lopez of Tulsa, OK, and Aurelia Gomez of Broken Arrow, OK and 14 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 1 9 PM, and Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 9 AM 9 PM at MartinezSmith Funeral Chapels. The Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 2 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Frank Chavez officiating. Cremation will be performed following the service.
