Josefa Juarez

Josefa A. Juarez, 92 of Odessa, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be held 12pm - 9pm Saturday, April 29, 2017 and 1pm - 9pm Sunday, April 30, 2017 with a Rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held at 2pm Monday, May 1, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Odessa Garden II. Arrangements are under Martinez Funeral Home.
Josefa was born on May 31, 1924 in Schertz, Texas to Francisco Juarez and Carolina Aleman. She worked at Manuel's Tortilla Factory for fifty years. She was an excellent cook and very respected at Manuel's Tortilla Factory for her dedication and special touch. She loved to cook for her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Josefa is preceded in death by her parents Francisco Juarez and Carolina Aleman, her husband Cruz R. Baeza, brothers Baleriano Juarez and Domingo Aleman and sister Trinidad Juarez.
Josefa is survived by her children; Thomas (Lidia) Uribez, Jose (Maria) Uribez, Maria L. (Refugio) Ochoa, Maria R. (Jose) Ybarra, Maria E. (Juan) Gamboa, Johnny (Delfina) Nabarrette and 35 grandchildren and approximately 100 great grandchildren.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Star Hospice and especially to Marcy Nabarrette for all the support and to Manuel's Tortilla Factory.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Nabarrette Jr., Raymond Nabarrette, Christopher Nabarrette, Juan Gamboa Jr., Ismael Gamboa and Ricardo Romero. Honarary Pallbearers will be Guadalupe Nabarrette, Valeria Nabarrette, Johnny Nabarrrette III, Adriel Nabarrette and Raymond Nabarrette Jr.
